Developer BetaDwarf has released a playable demo for Vaultbreakers, a PvPvE extraction OARPG. This follows previous reporting on the title, which has undergone multiple name changes during its development cycle.
The demo provides a limited experience featuring two playable characters and a single vault delve concluding with a boss encounter. Players can engage in this PvE content either solo or in co-op groups of up to three, with any earned legacy points carrying over to the eventual full release.
BetaDwarf has officially confirmed a publishing agreement with Square Enix under the Square Enix Collective initiative. This deal expands upon a prior investment relationship, with the developer noting that the partnership provides the necessary reach and support to help the game find a global audience.
Beyond the current demo, an alpha test for the game's PvPvE mode is scheduled to run from October 15th through October 21st. Character progress achieved in the demo will persist into this upcoming testing phase.
