Konami Digital Entertainment has officially released Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Players assume the role of Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she ventures into 1499 Paris to combat demonic forces and save the city from eternal darkness.
Developed by KONAMI, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin, this 2D action title emphasizes exploration. Set 23 years after the events of Castlevania Legends, the gameplay tasks users with utilizing the Vampire Killer whip and various skills to navigate burning streets and a mysterious castle. Players are encouraged to uncover hidden secrets and upgrades throughout the environment.
The experience is complemented by an original atmospheric soundtrack composed by Daniel ASADI, which features 71 tracks within the Digital Sound & Art Gallery. The game supports 11 languages, including Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese.
The title is available in a standard digital edition for NT$790 and a Midnight Edition for NT$890. The latter includes exclusive content such as a character costume, the digital gallery, and in-game magical artifacts.
