A player named Sliderv2 has uncovered a discarded post-credits scene within the files of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. This sequence, which was removed during early development, suggests Ubisoft considered narrative expansions or a new adventure featuring Edward Kenway.
The scene is set around 1727, five years after the events of the original game. It depicts Edward Kenway in a London tavern, having left piracy behind to serve the Assassin Brotherhood. During the encounter, he reunites with his former companion Adéwalé to discuss the death of King George I and the protection of the British Isles.
The footage features Miko, a character known from Assassin's Creed III, providing insight into her origins and role within the British Brotherhood. This interaction was intended to bridge the storylines of Black Flag, Freedom Cry, Rogue, and Assassin's Creed III, though no evidence confirms Ubisoft ever moved forward with a full expansion project.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, developed by Ubisoft Singapore and partners, launched on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The discovery remains a glimpse into early creative concepts that never reached the final release.
