At Brasil Game Show 2026, São Paulo-based studio Ignite Dreams introduced Bloodfang, a soulslike action RPG currently in development for PC. Environment artist Gustavo Felipe Simões described the title as a combat-focused experience where players control Thalios, a rabbit warrior navigating a world ravaged by a war between two creator goddesses.
Combat emphasizes precision, where single mistakes can be fatal. Players must adapt to different enemy behaviors, utilize combos blending physical and magical attacks, and manage a unique system where Thalios’s negative emotions—anger, sadness, and fear—boost combat abilities. However, utilizing these powers can make enemies more aggressive, risking a shift in momentum.
Exploration is central to the gameplay, with environments like forgotten temples and ancient ruins rewarding patient players with secrets and shortcuts. The team is also developing a skill tree system intended to influence character behavior and morality, reflecting Thalios’s evolution from prey to predator.
Ignite Dreams is a small, self-funded team currently seeking a publisher. While the game is currently PC-focused, the developers aim to secure publishing support to facilitate localization and potential ports to PS5 and Xbox consoles.
