The Association of Japanese Animations has announced the commencement of open lectures as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' commissioned project, the Reiwa 8 Animation Human Resource Development Research Project. These sessions are scheduled to run from September 29, Reiwa 8, through March 31, Reiwa 9.
This initiative provides a technical improvement education program designed to support industry professionals. The curriculum encompasses a broad range of topics, including the acquisition of foundational and applied skills, as well as the refreshing of essential knowledge and liberal arts required for long-term career sustainability within the animation sector.
The program is open to current industry workers, those planning to enter the field, and students aspiring to join the animation industry. While the lectures are offered free of charge, participants are strictly required to complete a survey following each session to remain eligible.
