Clear River Games has announced the upcoming release of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction. Developed by Bitmap Bureau, this 2D side-scrolling action game is scheduled to launch on February 4, 2027.
Players can choose from four playable characters, including He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, and She-Ra, to battle against Skeletor and his minions. The game features over 13 action-packed levels where players utilize unique character abilities, magic skills, and power-ups to prevent an ancient ritual from plunging Eternia into darkness.
The title emphasizes a retro aesthetic, utilizing detailed pixel art and environments inspired by the original 1980s animation. Combat mechanics include the ability to ride Battle Cat, and the game supports local two-player cooperative play for those looking to team up with friends.
The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. It features a large roster of characters based on the classic toy and animation series, with language support including English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
