Salt Game Studio released the rhythm game Rhythm Animal Cafe for PC via Steam on October 13, 2026. The title is priced at 1580 yen, with a 10 percent discount available until October 20.
The game tasks players with managing a cafe where they experience the daily lives of various animals. Gameplay involves performing tasks such as working at a company or cooking, with actions synchronized to the music. For instance, players help a character named Tsutomu Inukai handle work tasks or assist a handyman named Pan Youshen in preparing fried rice by timing ingredients into a pan.
The core mechanics focus on simple button inputs timed to music, designed to be accessible for beginners while offering a challenge for experienced players aiming for perfect timing. If players miss inputs, the animal characters react with unique animations, such as appearing flustered or troubled.
Developed by the Beijing-based studio Salt Game Studio, the project draws inspiration from the Rhythm Heaven series. The developers plan to add a stage editor approximately one month after launch, allowing users to create and share custom stages via Steam Workshop.
