A newly discovered hidden command for the GameCube title F-ZERO GX allows players to unlock content originally tied to the arcade version, F-ZERO AX. This discovery comes 23 years after the game's 2003 release, providing access to machines, cups, and event-exclusive custom parts that were previously nearly impossible to obtain.
The unlockable content includes tracks and machines from the Sega-developed arcade cabinet F-ZERO AX. Previously, accessing these features required difficult conditions or linking a GameCube memory card to an arcade machine, methods that are largely inaccessible today.
While the command simplifies the process, it introduces a new challenge: some inputs require four controllers connected simultaneously. Players must coordinate inputs across all four devices to successfully trigger the unlock, with specific details and demonstrations available via social media.
These commands are compatible with both the original GameCube release and the version currently available through the Nintendo Classics service for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers.
