Developer SkarVR has officially launched "SkarVR's Brutally RealRTCW VR," a modification for the 2001 horror action FPS title Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
The mod introduces full virtual reality support and incorporates intense gore effects reminiscent of Soldier of Fortune. Built upon the RealRTCW overhaul, it enables VR gameplay for the main campaign, the Cursed Sands expansion, and Enemy Territory single-player maps, with an option to play on standard monitors.
Users are advised that installation is performed at their own risk. The modification is currently available for download via ModDB.
To utilize this release, players must already own the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein game and have the RealRTCW overhaul mod installed on their system.
