Icrea has provided a project update for the Shin Megami Tensei board game via Kickstarter, addressing concerns regarding payment systems and communication delays. The project, which successfully raised 98,963,619 yen, is currently scheduled to begin shipping to backers in November.
Regarding support, the company apologized for failing to meet its five-business-day response target, attributing the issue to fragmented communication channels. To resolve this, Icrea is consolidating all inquiries to the Kickstarter messaging system, pledging to respond within seven business days and clearing existing backlogs by October 13.
The developer clarified that a July 21 payment system malfunction affected shipping preparations but confirmed that project management and BackerKit data remain functional. While the team is transitioning to an alternative payment method, specific details remain confidential due to ongoing negotiations with involved partners.
A concrete timeline has been established for the final logistics phase. Shipping costs, customs, and payment methods will be announced on October 16, with payment collection opening on October 23. The final deadline for confirming quantities and settling shipping fees is set for November 11.
