Uniana announced that pre-orders for the physical package version of Konami Digital Entertainment's new 2D action game, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, titled the Midnight Edition, begin on October 2. Alongside the pre-order launch, a game demo has also been made publicly available.
The title is scheduled for an official release on October 15 for PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Set in 1499 Paris, France, 23 years after Castlevania 3, the story follows Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she wields the Vampire Killer whip to battle sudden monster hordes.
Developed in collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin, the game features evolved whip action, new bosses like Joan of Arc alongside classic foes, and deep combat customization through tarot card arcana, weapon categories, and magical tools.
The Midnight Edition package includes the main game, digital sound and art gallery features, and three in-game bonuses consisting of Trevor and Sypha style costumes and the Family Portrait magical tool. An early purchase bonus voucher for an Alucard style costume will also be provided.
