Project Comet has emerged in a new video leak as a cooperative action RPG featuring Marvel characters, developed by Scopely. Originally leaked a few months ago under this codename and described as being in the style of Genshin Impact, the game is targeted for mobile devices with crossplay support for PC.
The premise of the futuristic next-generation mobile ARPG follows the defeat of Galactus by the Fantastic Four, after which they disappeared and numerous villains arose. A new squad of superheroes must step in to prevent disaster. Gameplay involves intense hack 'n slash combat managed through touch screen controls featuring a movement pad and action buttons.
Players can control characters from the Marvel universe such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Black Widow in four-player cooperative squads. While the game reportedly appears to have entered a testing phase, official details remain scarce and a release date has not yet been announced.
