Keychron has officially opened pre-orders for its G6 HE wireless gaming mouse, a device featuring Hall effect technology. The mouse is available in two configurations, with the swappable battery model priced at $89.99 and a built-in battery version listed at $74.99, though the latter is not currently available. Shipping for these units is scheduled to commence in late November.
The G6 HE utilizes a PixArt PAW 3955 sensor and a Nordic 54LM20A MCU, supporting an 8 kHz polling rate. Its hybrid MagOpt switches offer adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger functionality, with a 100 million-click rating. The device runs on the new Zephyr-based ZGM open-source firmware.
Weighing 49 g with the swappable battery, the mouse can be adjusted to 41 g in wired mode or up to 66 g using optional weight blocks. The built-in battery variant weighs 42 g. The shell, which resembles the Logitech G Pro X shape, comes in seven color options including five translucent finishes.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz wireless. Battery life varies by mode, reaching up to 248 hours at 125 Hz or 29 hours at 8 kHz. The swappable battery model includes a TurboLink 8K wireless receiver that functions as a charging dock and features four customizable buttons for macros and shortcuts.
