  1. Check game version and store; back up saves and mod settings.
  2. Follow the official REDkit page to the chosen mod’s original provider.
  3. Use the mod’s specific version, dependency and folder instructions.
  4. Read conflict notes and test on a separate save.

Removal · recovery

  1. Disable the mod following its author’s removal order.
  2. Verify the base game and restore backed-up settings or saves.
