Roblox official desktop installation and launch reference

Use Roblox Support’s browser-to-client installation procedure for the desktop player. Keep the distinction between the Roblox Player and Studio when choosing a download.

Installation

  1. Read the official instructions for your operating system.
  2. Use the Roblox website to open an experience and obtain the official player when prompted.
  3. Allow the browser to launch the installed Roblox Player, then check the experience again.

Removal · recovery

  1. If launching fails, restart the browser and player before following the official reinstall instructions.
  2. Use the official installer again; keep your account information private when asking for help.
