Minecraft Forge
A loader for Forge mods. Choose the game version before obtaining its installer.
Installation
- Close the game and back up saves and your current mod configuration.
- Choose your Minecraft version and loader build on the project’s installation page.
- Use the project installer to create a separate game profile.
- Launch the new profile once, then add only mods supporting that loader.
Removal · recovery
- Select your original vanilla game profile in the launcher.
- Back up the modded profile and settings before removing an unwanted instance.
