F4SE — Fallout 4 Script Extender
An extender used by Fallout 4 plugin mods; select the build matching your installed runtime.
Installation
- Close the game and back up saves and your current mod configuration.
- Check the game executable’s version and store, such as Steam or GOG.
- Download its specific extender build and follow the included readme’s file placement.
- Launch with the extender loader, check logs, then add plugins targeting the same runtime.
Removal · recovery
- Disable plugins depending on the extender first.
- Follow the readme’s removal instructions and restore your original launch options and base-game executable.
