Key information

Pearl Abyss has rolled out a system update for Black Desert that revamps character levels and experience acquisition, following initial details revealed at the Heidel Banquet held in California last July. Under the changes, players who reach level 75 will receive additional attack power and monster damage reduction effects alongside standard stats.

Alongside the maximum level increase, experience acquisition amounts have been adjusted across different level brackets. The game's hunting ground information user interface has also been updated so users can view numerical experience values for specific monsters, helping players plan more efficient character progression.

In addition to the progression updates, Pearl Abyss launched a dream horse acquisition event running until November 4. Players can complete weekly quests from the NPC Merindola in Velia to earn rewards such as a Tier 8 Golden Mount, a Mount Skill Change Coupon, an Event Dream Horse Selection Box, and a Censer Calling Dreams. Players can also combine 'Event Trace of Fantasy' items with 'Feathers of Dreams' to obtain extra censers.

Furthermore, a charitable donation event runs from October 7 to October 21. Players can participate by purchasing the 'Event Donation Angel Teddy Bear' from the NPC Lara in Heidel and delivering it. Pearl Abyss plans to use the event to deliver medical support funds to children with incurable diseases through Make-A-Wish Korea.
