Key information
Neptune has started global pre-registration for its new title, Trace of Wind. After securing global publishing rights last July, the game features pixel graphics and a story-driven JRPG structure. Pre-registration is available on Google Play, the Apple App Store, and a separate official page.
The core of combat is turn-based cooperative play where multiple users participate together. It offers a build system combining up to 10 weapons and character organization based on attributes and roles. It was introduced as a structure where combat composition changes during the process of collecting and nurturing characters.
Outside of combat, players can fish and mine, and the content includes exploring continents to find hidden stories and treasures. A feature of this announcement is that it is an RPG combining cooperative combat, resource activities, and exploration, rather than a title that simply ends with appreciating dot graphics.
The proposed launch platforms are both mobile markets and Steam. Neptune also announced plans to prepare for long-term service through localization and operation. What has been confirmed this time is the start of pre-registration, and official release dates or reward quantities not disclosed in the article have not been arbitrarily added.
