Freebird Games has officially announced that a demo for The Last Hour of an Epic TO THE MOON RPG will be available during the Steam Next Fest. This upcoming title serves as the conclusion to the decade-long Sigmund series.
The game features a unique premise where players load 99 hours of progression data to experience the final hour of an epic narrative. It is currently scheduled for a full release in 2027.
Mechanically, the title adopts a classic JRPG style, utilizing dot-art graphics and turn-based combat. Players will control four main characters, including Neil Watts, Eva Rosalene, Rob, and Roxy, while encountering various figures from the series.
The demo is set to launch on October 19 as part of the Steam Next Fest event. While the specific length of the demo content remains unannounced, it will provide the first hands-on look at the series' transition into this new RPG format.
