HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3, titled 'Journey to the Sky,' will launch on October 21. The update continues the main story, focusing on the conflict surrounding the sky island of Roscaelifer and the occupied Quietude Isle.
The update introduces two new S-Rank Agents. Phoenix, a Fire Anomaly Agent, debuts in the first half with the ability to revive upon taking fatal damage. Severian, a Wind Attack Agent, arrives in the second half, utilizing a counterattack-focused playstyle. Players can also access new mech combat mechanics, allowing them to pilot mechs for both melee and ranged engagements.
Version 3.3 adds several system optimizations, including a team recommendation function provided by Fairy and new tutorial videos for specific Agents. Additionally, players can participate in various events, such as 'Night of Supernatural Tricks' and 'Cyber Miracle Healer, on Duty!', to earn rewards like Encrypted Master Tapes and Boopons.
The game remains available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android. The update also features new outfits, seasonal content for the Enigma of the Labyrinth mode, and various quality-of-life improvements for squad configuration and Inter-Knot progression.
