During the GT World Series Round 3 held in Singapore, Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi and Jean-Arthur Madelaine, Head of Design for Xiaomi EV's European Research and Development and Design Center, jointly announced that Xiaomi's original concept electric supercar will join Gran Turismo 7 in October via version 1.72 update as part of Spec IV Part 1.

Xiaomi becomes the 36th brand to join the Vision Gran Turismo initiative and the first technology company to participate in the program. The Xiaomi Vision GT was originally unveiled globally by Xiaomi EV chief designer Li Tianyuan at the 2026 Mobile World Congress and later exhibited at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.

The vehicle features a sculpted-by-the-wind design philosophy centered around a floating teardrop-shaped cabin, achieving an aerodynamic efficiency of 4.1 and a drag coefficient of 0.29. Inside, it introduces a sofa racer concept with a cocoon-like cockpit supported by the Xiaomi Super XiaoAi AI voice assistant and the Xiaomi MiMo large model.

Additionally, Gran Turismo 7 will introduce its first dedicated EV Driving Experience featuring Xiaomi's production car, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, and the Xiaomi Vision GT concept, offering specialized challenges for players.
