On October 8, badminton brand VICTOR announced a collaboration with CAPCOM to release the VICTOR x Street Fighter collection. This series integrates classic arcade aesthetics and iconic character moves into professional badminton equipment, including rackets, footwear, apparel, and accessories.
VICTOR highlights the shared intensity between badminton and competitive gaming, noting that both require sharp reflexes and explosive power. The design features characters like Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li, with rackets inspired by signature moves such as the Hadoken and Shoryuken to evoke the feeling of executing combos on the court.
The collection extends to footwear and accessories featuring pixel art and street fighting motifs. Shoes display move commands, while items like wristbands and grips incorporate symbols like Akuma's Raging Demon. The gear is available in four colorways: Ryu's Phantom Black, Ken's Flame Red, Chun-Li's Gale Blue, and Juri's Rose Pink.
