Key information
HoYoverse announced that the action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will receive its Version 3.3 update, titled "Soar to the Skies Once More," on October 21, 2026. This update centers on the escalating conflict surrounding the floating island of Roscalifa.
The update introduces S-rank agents Fiony and Severian. Combat mechanics are expanding with new systems allowing players to toggle between melee and ranged attack modes. Players can also utilize laser weaponry triggered by enhanced special skills or dodges, alongside environmental interactions like shooting explosives or destroying obstacles.
Additional gameplay features include the "Strange Trials" season within the permanent "Mystery of the Labyrinth" content. Furthermore, a test run for an "Fairy"-powered recommended team composition feature will assist players with squad building and combat tactics.
A Steam version of the game is scheduled to launch concurrently with the update, supporting Discord account linking for activity synchronization. Looking ahead, HoYoverse confirmed a collaboration with Honkai: Star Rail for Version 3.4, which will bring characters Kafka and Robin to New Eridu.
