Key information
This week's PC game releases bring a heavy concentration of horror and survival titles, coinciding with the Halloween month. Among the new offerings are several early access projects, side-scrolling adventures, and expanded franchise editions.
Mechanically, the titles span diverse genres including multiplayer mansion survival in Veillombre, investigative narrative RPG elements in Mycopsychosys: Project Jupiter, and the Jumanji-inspired shapeshifting co-op puzzle horror of Invokyr. Other entries feature high-speed crashes in Star Wars: Galactic Racer and real-time cargo physics in Truckful.
Specific source observations and developer discussions note that Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival explores real-life consensual bondage with its developers. Meanwhile, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen brings an expanded edition of Capcom's action-RPG.
The slate also includes retro-styled tycoon management like Car Park Capital, puzzle logic ports such as Heartbeats Anniversary Edition, and various independent dungeon crawlers and time-loop stories available on Steam and other platforms.
