Key information
Woot has discounted The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch Pro controller to $69.99 for today only.
This discount offers a $30 savings compared to the recently announced Switch 2 Pro controller, which is priced at $100. The original Switch Pro controller retains compatibility with the newer Switch 2 console and shares the same build quality and heft as the newer model.
Both gamepads feature HD rumble with haptic feedback and official licensing. However, the older Switch Pro controller lacks several features found on the newer Switch 2 Pro controller.
Missing additions include two rear paddle switches, a GameChat button, a headphone jack, upgraded HD Rumble 2, and the ability to wake the Switch 2 console. Gamers willing to forgo these specific hardware additions can secure the officially licensed Zelda gamepad at a lower price point today.
