Key information

After four years of development and as part of the PlayStation India Hero Project, the developers have announced that Suri: The Seventh Note will launch on PlayStation 5 on October 30, 2026. Pre-orders open today.

The game features a distinct visual identity inspired by the artistic and architectural traditions of India, incorporating elements from Rajput forts, theyyam culture, Himalayan monasteries, and various regional cultures.

Eighty percent of the in-game music was recorded using classical instruments rather than being electronically synthesized to preserve its texture. The developers blended an overall structure similar to hip hop with superimposed Indian textures, utilizing regional instruments such as the vina in the southern area of the island and traditions from Rajasthan in desert zones.

The team established a strict interval of 480 milliseconds between each main beat to balance responsiveness, rhythmic clarity, and the game's tempo while allowing enough time for player actions.

Players can choose between the base game edition—which offers a 20 percent pre-order discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers—and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, three days of early access, the exclusive Chandini appearance, and DLC that cannot be purchased separately.
