Sega has officially launched a series of nationwide hands-on events for the upcoming action-adventure title STRANGER THAN HEAVEN. The events will take place across 12 venues in 10 cities, beginning today, October 11.
Developed by RGG Studio, the game is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The narrative spans approximately 50 years, from 1915 to 1965, focusing on the life of protagonist Dai-to Shin.
The events are split into two periods. Attendees can play the Tokyo Game Show 2026 demo version during the first phase, while a new demo will be available starting November 14. Participants will receive an original neck strap as a gift.
Today's sessions are held at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Kyoto and Yokohama. The Yokohama location will also host a signing session with executive director Masayoshi Yokoyama and producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto.
