Key information
At the OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026 event held on October 3 and 4, 2026, at Congress Square Grand Front Osaka, Hong Kong solo developer SingKeys exhibited the 2D action RPG The Book of Prosperity. The title has been in development for 7 years alongside the creator's full-time job, marking its first exhibition appearance.
The pixel-art game is set in a parallel world inspired by neon-lit Hong Kong, where a harsh organization named The Circle rules. The protagonist is Cyrus, a student whose initial weapon before mastering magic is a thick mathematics textbook pulled from his bag to beat down enemies.
Combat centers on timing-based mechanics including parries, evasions, and skill combos. When players attack, a shrinking circle appears, and pressing the button the exact moment it returns allows continuous skill usage without consuming stamina.
Scheduled for release in 2027, the game currently features a playable demo with Japanese language support available on Steam, where its wishlist count stands at approximately 1300 since April.
