Key information

Japanese dōjin circle NoFuture announced on the 7th that its adult bishōjo RPG Heroines' Chord is planned for a Steam release featuring a Traditional Chinese version, published by Co-FUN GAMES and Shiravune.

The Steam launch version of the game will be all-ages, requiring players to visit patch.moe to obtain the DLC required to unlock adult content. The title brings together multiple characters from NoFuture's catalog to embark on an adventure against dark forces.

The plot follows magical girls whose rising fame after fighting off the evil Ark and the Exterminator makes them targets for organizations like the anti-heroine mercenary group的反擊部隊 causing urban destruction, as well as the secretive Shaldak and the demon-controlled corporation Grod.

Gameplay features traditional JRPG dungeon exploration with grid-based mazes. Female characters can suffer debuffs such as incapacity, sleep, and paralysis during combat, which can lead to characters being captured by enemies if not cleansed in time.

Captured heroines appear at specific locations in the maze and must be rescued within a set number of turns or face continuous conditioning by enemies, while defeat in battle also triggers defeat-related adult content.

The Steam store page for Heroines' Chord is currently live with support for Traditional Chinese text and interface, allowing interested players to add the game to their wishlists.
