ASUS has officially introduced the ROG Ace Esports OLED professional gaming monitor lineup in Taiwan, featuring the Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and XG259QWPG Ace models. These displays are scheduled for release in the fourth quarter.
Both monitor models are built with a 24.5-inch tandem WOLED panel offering a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 720Hz refresh rate, a 0.02-second GtG response time, a peak brightness of 1,700 nits, and 99.5 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
Differentiating the two variants, the PG259QWS Ace comes equipped with a DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 interface and a transparent back cover design, whereas the XG259QWPG features a DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a simplified opaque rear panel.
For competitive players, both units incorporate a super-low flat base alongside printed scales on the stand components, plus a front distance sensor with positioning measurement to help users consistently replicate their preferred display angles.
Additional display features include a six-axis color adjustment tool for precise tuning across various titles, along with dedicated OSD preset profiles tailored for games like CS2, Valorant, and PUBG.
Regarding pricing, the high-end PG259QWS Ace costs NT$ 37,900 and the XG259QWPG Ace is priced at NT$ 26,900, with availability slated for the current quarter.
