Krafton has unveiled PUBG: DED.NET, a new free-to-play multiplayer roguelite first-person shooter set within the PUBG universe. The game transports players to a fictionalized version of the Pacific Northwest region called Cascadia, specifically themed around the year 1996.
Gameplay centers on exploring various locations throughout Cascadia to scavenge for items. As a roguelite, the experience incorporates a death-based loop where players retain specific abilities and injuries across runs, which Krafton intends to influence future tactical decision-making.
A closed beta test is currently active for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. This testing period is scheduled to conclude on Monday, October 12th.
To participate in the ongoing beta, interested users must register through the official game website. Access also requires players to maintain an active Krafton account.
