Key information

Developer Project Aces has issued an apology in response to fan disappointment regarding Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War not being available for individual purchase. The team addressed the issue through a recent post on the official Steam game page for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, acknowledging that the title cannot be sold separately due to aircraft licensing restrictions and permissions from respective manufacturers.

Because of these licensing limitations, the title was instead offered as a pre-order bonus for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, a period that has now concluded alongside the game's official release. Project Aces apologized for the confusion and frustration caused by miscommunication surrounding the distribution, noting that the situation should have been communicated much earlier.

Following extensive fan feedback expressing a desire to see the game sold separately on modern gaming platforms, Project Aces is evaluating potential options and discussing the matter with partners. However, the developer emphasized that these efforts do not guarantee a change in the decision, though they will continue working with relevant parties to address fan concerns as best as they can.
