Key information
Pokémon HOME version 4.1.0 is available for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, according to the official update notice. Its main addition is compatibility with the Switch editions of Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen.
The update also expands paid Premium Plan storage from 6,000 Pokémon to 9,000. The Pokémon Company says the plan’s price is unchanged. Pokémon caught in a GO Safari Ball can now move from Pokémon GO to HOME; their ball is represented as a Strange Ball after that transfer.
The Switch version gains Research Tasks for additional games, while the mobile version adds Challenges and stickers. The notice points users to the mobile Help menu for feature details and also lists fixes intended to improve the experience.
A separate official notice adds Celebi as a gift for completing the Kanto region Pokédex (GBA) associated with FireRed and LeafGreen. Players confirm completion in HOME’s Games tab and receive the gift through the mobile version with a linked Nintendo Account. It is limited to one claim per account, and an already completed Pokédex remains eligible.
