Key information
Steam is currently offering the title Pony Island at no cost. Users can claim the game for their accounts until October 12, 2026, after which it will return to its standard price of 5 euros.
The game is designed for PC and carries a verification badge for the Steam Deck, ensuring compatibility with Valve's handheld console. It serves as the debut famous project from developer Daniel Mullins, who later created The Hex in 2018 and the acclaimed Inscryption in 2021.
Despite its deceptive title, the game features a mysterious narrative where players are trapped inside a broken arcade machine constructed by the devil. Escaping requires solving complex puzzles and identifying glitches within the software.
The experience is relatively brief, with completion times ranging from two to five hours. The title holds an 86 score on Metacritic and maintains a 94% positive rating from users on the Steam platform.
