Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation Festival event will take place on October 24 at Grand Front Osaka North Building 1F Knowledge Plaza in Osaka Prefecture.
The event will feature PlayStation 5 titles that were playable at the PlayStation booth during the Tokyo Game Show 2026 held in September. Advance trial reservations for certain titles opened today, October 2, exclusively for PlayStation Plus subscribers via a special website on a first-come, first-served basis until October 21.
Confirmed playable games include Capcom's "Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance", Square Enix's "Final Fantasy VII Liberation", and Bandai Namco Entertainment's titles "Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve" and "Gundam Rogue Orbit".
Additionally, the venue will host a PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! special broadcast, PlayStation Portal remote player trial experiences, the sale of PlayStation merchandise including limited-quantity items for "Astro Bot", and the distribution of limited novelty goods.
Attendees can receive random novelty items on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, including a PlayStation original PVC mini pouch for playing a title, a PlayStation special acrylic keychain for posting on social media from the venue, and an original denim carabiner for adding the official PlayStation LINE account via a venue QR code.
