IO Interactive has released a free DLC update for 007 First Light called Extended Operations. The update adds New Game+, the 00 difficulty mode, a photo mode, improved weapon handling animation fidelity, and new TacSim content featuring the Aston Martin Valhalla and Vietnam-set missions.
The New Game+ mode is unlocked after completing the campaign on any difficulty, allowing players to replay from the beginning or any completed checkpoint with their unlocked outfits and gadgets. Unlocking New Game+ also grants access to the 00 difficulty mode, which features sharper combat and stealth, two-hit kills, restricted gadget use in lines of sight, and tougher enemy variants. Players can also mix and match custom outfits and gadgets across Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulties.
The Valhalla Protocol content brings the Aston Martin Valhalla to the Slovakian Mountains across four daytime and nighttime driving missions equipped with main campaign weaponry. Additionally, a new TacSim mission sends James Bond to The Pearl luxury resort in Vietnam to retrieve classified documents with the entire property accessible.
Extended Operations also introduces a full Photo Mode with camera, image, and frame controls. Other gameplay updates include improved weapon handling animation fidelity and the addition where Bond can now be thrown off ledges by enemies.
