Modder LoreanXavier has revealed a native PC port of the horror experience P.T., which was originally released for the PlayStation 4. The project is currently 97% complete.

The developer utilized C++ and Vulkan to reconstruct the game by reverse-engineering the original PS4 executable. Unlike previous fan recreations or emulators, this version directly utilizes the original game assets to ensure an experience identical to the source material.

Hideo Kojima, who participated in the creation of the original 2014 demo, has acknowledged the project by reposting the news on X. Fans have expressed concerns regarding potential copyright issues and are requesting that the source code be made public.

P.T. was originally unveiled at the 2014 Gamescom event as a playable teaser for the Silent Hill series. Following its removal from digital storefronts in April 2015, various fans have attempted to recreate the title through different methods.
