Sega has released a major update for PSO2 New Genesis ver.2, highlighted by the limited-time Halloween '26 event running from October 7, 2026, through November 4, 2026. Central City and regional Mags feature Halloween decorations, while navigation character Shemy appears in seasonal attire to offer investigations into enemy movements on Halph.
The update introduces Amulet equipment, which drops with fixed preset and special abilities, alongside the new Haunted Domain II '26 urgent quest utilizing an improved Mobile Cannon ECS. Additionally, the Alterelms Exploration adds the Northeast Plain Area featuring the new high-level enemies Hi-Nex and Hi-Helzeig.
Tech Arts Customization is now completed with the addition of the remaining Photon Arts and techniques. A new rarity ★15 Ryugensei weapon series is introduced as an upgrade from Shougensei weapons, and fresh face variations and building parts are also added.
Players can also enjoy the start dash free SG scratch offering up to one hundred draws, alongside the Halph School Style AC scratch and mission pass Season 61, providing various rewards during the event period.
