Key information
A recent update to the Pokemon Home application has introduced connectivity features for the Nintendo Switch versions of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, which were released earlier this year. This integration allows players to move their creatures from these specific titles into cloud storage.
The functionality is accessed through the Switch version of the Home app. Users can initiate the transfer process by selecting a newly implemented button labeled "GBA games" located within the application's menu interface.
Following this update, some observers have speculated that the inclusion of this feature suggests that digital ports of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald may eventually arrive on the Switch platform. These claims remain speculative and are not official announcements.
The discovery of this new menu option was highlighted by Serebii, who shared a screenshot of the interface on the social media platform X to demonstrate the connectivity.
