Nacon has officially unveiled the Revolution 5 Unlimited (R5U), a new asymmetric pro controller licensed for PlayStation 5 consoles, PC, and Android Smart TVs. Engineered using feedback from the esports community, the premium peripheral is currently available for pre-order on Nacon's official website priced at $229.99, £179.99, or €199.99.
The controller introduces an integrated on-board control screen, marking a world-first for an officially licensed PS5 controller. This display lets users modify button mappings, adjust audio mixing, change joystick sensitivity, and manage system profiles in real time without leaving a match.
For enhanced hardware performance, the Revolution 5 Unlimited features Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) magnetic technology to improve reliability, deliver surgical precision, and reduce battery consumption. Additional competitive features include micro-switch action buttons, instant trigger blockers, remappable shortcuts, and a Shooter Pro Mode that removes joystick dead zones.
The package includes a storage case and Nacon's first dedicated charging dock for an officially licensed PS5 controller. The device supports triple connectivity and offers a specialized PC mode with 1ms latency, alongside a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android to configure advanced settings like gyroscopic controls.
