Kakao Games officially released the 2.5D MMORPG Dokkaebi's World in South Korea on the 8th. Developed by Supercat, this new title is based on the intellectual property of the Naver web novel and webtoon titled The Exorcist's Cultivation Record.
The game features a hybrid visual style that combines 2D pixel-art characters with 3D backgrounds. This design choice aims to provide both a retro aesthetic and a sense of spatial depth, utilizing pixel art that incorporates traditional Korean themes to build its world.
To celebrate the launch, Kakao Games is hosting a 28-day attendance event offering daily rewards and a Hero's Blessing Selection Box. Additionally, players can earn in-game coupons by watching streams on the CHZZK and SOOP platforms for specific durations.
