Key information
Aircraft & Avionics Update 06 has officially landed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, delivering a comprehensive upgrade for five aircraft manufactured by German companies. According to Microsoft's official release notes, existing owners receive these enhancements completely free of charge.
For players who do not already own the aircraft, each can be purchased individually in the in-game Marketplace for $14,99. All five machines have been migrated to the original MSFS 2024 aircraft framework and the modular aircraft system, bringing refinements to flight characteristics, control response, and ground handling. Engine, fuel, electrical, and cockpit systems have also been updated, with water handling improved specifically for the Do X and Do J Wal during taxiing, takeoff, and landing, while relevant configurations now support activities in Career Mode.
Visual materials, textures, and detail levels have been revised, with all assets and LOD optimized specifically for MSFS 2024. Individual improvements include enhanced radial engine performance and optimized tailwheel handling on the F 13, three-engine operation support on the Ju 52, twelve-engine operation and improved water handling on the massive Do X, refined push-pull engines and variants for the Do J Wal, and adjusted lift engines, hover control, flight transitions, and general stability for the Do 31.
