Marvel Rivals has expanded its gameplay offerings with a new limited-time PvP mode and plans for a large-scale PvE event. The mid-season update introduces a 12-player competitive experience alongside upcoming content centered on a massive battle against Thanos.

The current PvP mode features six teams of two players competing in round-robin matches. Participants face elimination as their health bars deplete, with gameplay mechanics allowing for hero selection modifications via randomly drafted cards and the use of Infinity Stones during combat. This mode remains accessible until Friday, December 11th.

A 50-player PvE event is scheduled for Thursday, October 22nd, tasking players with defeating Thanos and his army at the Avengers Compound. This event aims to recreate the final conflict from Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, the game will host the All Hallows’ Glow event on October 15th and the Night of Illusions puzzle experience on October 29th.

The 10.5 season update also adds the Alchemax Headquarters map for the 18v18 Annihilation mode. Players can currently unlock a Thor costume through seasonal events and explore a themed Times Square social hub featuring Avengers: Infinity War content.
