Japan’s PlayStation Blog announces the PS5 Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III for October 8. It bundles HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and III + Re Mind. The individual packages are digital; the combined collection also has a physical edition.
HD 1.5+2.5 contains four playable games and two HD films. Counting all six stories as six playable games would misrepresent the package.
HD 2.8 includes Dream Drop Distance HD, the Aqua-focused 0.2 episode and χ Back Cover. III + Re Mind supplies the third main game and its additional episode.
Owners of the relevant PS4 digital titles receive a discounted purchase option. PS4 saves cannot transfer to these PS5 versions, an important limitation for returning players.
