Key information
Japanese rock band KANA-BOON is scheduled to hold their 'CRITICAL HIT PARADE in TAIPEI' concert on November 15 at Legacy Taipei. Tickets have already gone on sale through the ibon system, with VIP tickets priced at NT$2,400 now sold out, which included priority entry and a pre-signed poster handed out by members after the show.
Celebrating their major-label debut 13th anniversary this September, the band announced they will perform the opening theme song 'Hanabanashi' for the upcoming TV anime 'Jasmine Official Chronicles', slated to premiere in Japan in January 2027. KANA-BOON enters this new era with a fresh four-member lineup, following the additions of guitarist Yokoi Takayuki and drummer Seki Yuriko.
The group previously released the 2014 hit 'Silhouette' for Naruto Shippuden, which continues to enjoy immense popularity across social media platforms. Following lineup changes and the release of their single 'Right Here, Right Now' in July, the reformed four-piece outfit returned to The First Take in late 2025 to perform 'Silhouette' alongside various music allies.
Reflecting on his journey, frontman Taniguchi Maguro previously shared that KANA-BOON was the first band he formed at age 16, representing both his own life and the lives of many others. Additionally, Taniguchi recently collaborated with Ikimonogakari's Mizuno Yoshiki on the track 'Haru no Mado kara' for FM802, featuring vocals from six prominent artists.
