Publisher Songzhu Games and developer Ludogram have released the multiplayer horror adventure game Invokyr into Steam Early Access. Players are trapped within a cursed 1970s board game, navigating supernatural nightmares controlled by a Game Master voiced by Amelia Tyler, known for her work on Baldur's Gate 3 and Hades 2.
The gameplay features dynamic rules and randomized events, including over 15 monster types and 20 distinct events. Players must survive lethal traps and supernatural threats by utilizing more than ten types of dice and cursed statues that grant special abilities. A dedicated in-game shop allows for the purchase of upgrades and gadgets to assist in overcoming these unpredictable challenges.
The current Early Access version includes four major themed levels: a haunted manor, a jungle, a frozen mountain, and a desert. Each environment presents unique hazards that players must navigate to reach the end of the board and escape.
Ludogram plans to prioritize bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and accessibility features based on player feedback. While the final release date remains unannounced, the game is currently available for 249 TWD, with a 25% discount running from October 8, 2026, to October 22, 2026.
