Key information
Players working on the Sheltered Retreat project in Arc Raiders must acquire planks and sheet metal to progress. This requirement triggers after capturing a photograph of the Ruined Homestead and deciding to commit resources to the mission.
The game offers multiple methods for gathering these materials. Planks are primarily located in residential and old world zones, with Old Town in the southwest of Pendola Pass being a notable location. Conversely, sheet metal is abundant in technological and industrial sectors, specifically within the Assembly and Loading Bay of Stella Montis, where yellow drawer containers frequently yield the resource.
Alternatively, players can purchase both items directly from Celeste. Each unit of plank or sheet metal costs three seeds. Given the project's modest requirements, it is possible to complete the resource gathering by spending a total of 24 seeds at her shop.
While these specific areas offer higher concentrations of materials, planks and sheet metal can occasionally be discovered in other locations throughout the game world, albeit with lower frequency.
