Hololive issued an apology and delayed an episode of its weekly 3D animated short series holo Graffiti after member Kazama Iroha raised concerns over a promotional thumbnail that sparked unintended adult-themed interpretations among viewers.
The scheduled episode titled I Got a Time Stop Button featured Nekomata Okayu acquiring a time-stop device, but the promotional preview depicted Okayu looking at Iroha in a manner that led some internet users to associate it with adult video tropes, a connection Iroha stated she was completely unaware of due to limited knowledge of such themes.
Iroha expressed distress over the situation during a broadcast, stating she maintains a wholesome image and explicitly requested management to avoid explicit framing, while fellow member Shirakami Fubuki also provided feedback to management to prevent similar character interpretations.
Following the review and adjustment of the content, management announced that the episode would be published later on 10月4日, while urging fans to refrain from criticizing or questioning the affiliated talents regarding the matter.
