Key information
Blizzard is set to transform the Hearthstone experience by introducing a new journal feature on Tuesday, October 13th. This update aims to consolidate various game elements into a single, cohesive hub for players.
The journal functions as a central location that integrates story content, Journey Quests, rewards, events, and seasonal activities. By organizing these components into one campaign, the developer intends to provide a more immersive narrative experience where players can unlock content and follow character arcs.
The inaugural chapter, titled The Road to Ny’alotha, will span seven weeks. This segment includes weekly quests and narrative updates, with each section rewarding players with a card pack for the Reign of the Black Empire expansion.
These new features are designed to unfold alongside the Reign of the Black Empire expansion, which is scheduled for an official launch on October 20th. Players will be able to access specific events directly through bookmarks within the journal interface.
